A Bit Chilly Out Here

A Bit Chilly Out Here – While birding at Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center on New Years Day, it was a bit chilly, but that didn’t seem to bother the birds too much.  This Great Egret spent most of the morning wading in the pond looking for food.

The Pose

The Pose – When you get a good subject to photograph, you don’t want to leave.  This Great Egret displayed the pose over and over again making it even harder for me to turn my attention to other activities in the area.
