Spoonbill

Spoonbill on the Hunt – While visiting Port Aransas in early January we spent a few mornings at Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center where we saw this Spoonbill on the hunt for a meal.  I captured this image just as the bird pulled its head from the water with a great splash of water.
