Arrowleaf Balsam Root – Arrowleaf Balsam Root dominate the landscape in Yellowstone National Park in June. The more moisture during the winter months the more prominent these beautiful flowers will be in the spring and early summer. This image was made at Undine Falls east of Mammoth Hot Springs. I was drawn to this scene by the contrast between the buck rail fence, the Lodgepole Pines, the blue sky, and the gorgeous flowers.
