Frosty Morning Along Obsidian Creek – It is not at all uncommon for frost to form during the early morning hours in early September at elevations above 8000 feet. This was the case on this particular morning. The cool crisp atmosphere along with the subtle white frost on the willows made for a crystal clear image. This photograph was made from the bridge that crosses Obsidian Creek on the entrance road to Indian Creek Campground in Yellowstone National Park.
