Grand Canyon From the North Rim – As we moved from one overlook area to another along the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, the lighting in the canyon just kept improving. We were finally able to get mostly clear views deep into this wonderful place.
I have strived throughout the years to keep good notes of the locations from which I make my photographs. Sadly, I failed to do so for this image. I know we were continuing our drive from the Visitor Center back to the park entrance. This was one of the tightest shots I took this day and as such, there isn’t enough background image to determine which pullout we were in at the time. Adding to the mystery, we skipped a few turnouts because the scene didn’t vary significantly from those already captured.
