Landscape Arch is one of the most famous of the many arches in Arches National Park. Years ago people were allowed to walk under this phenomenal natural feature. However, following an event where a massive chunk of rock broke loose from the underside of the arch, the park service wisely decided there is too much risk involved in allowing visitors to walk under the arch. This event illustrates that this park, like many others, is in a continuous state of change.
