Mountain Bluebird – Mountain Bluebird on a perch near Phantom Lake in Yellowstone National Park. These beautiful birds can be seen all summer long in the Greater Yellowstone Eco-system. While they are somewhat shy and easily flushed when approached, good photographs can be made by watching where they tend to perch and then setting up there and waiting quietly for the bird to return.
