Paint Brush Forever – It seemed as though the Paintbrush went forever. While that is not quite accurate, the field was about an eighth of a mile long and easily as wide. While not completely covering the ground, there seemed to be Paintbrush forever. I captured this image not far from my home in Kyle, Texas. I have frequented this location for most of the springs we have lived in Kyle. I knew that there would come a day when this field would no longer exist and I wanted to be sure I had records of its brilliantly colored past. As I write this an apartment complex is being built on the former field. I have my memories and share them here.
