Scissor-tailed Flycatcher – This is a common spring and summer bird in Central Texas. What isn’t so common as far as this photographer is concerned is getting a quality photograph of the bird in flight. Try as I might, they seem to always make a hard turn just as I am snapping the photo during a pan in the then wrong direction. Some day I hope to get a good shot. Until then, this will have to do.
